Education & Community Department

Our department provides recurring safety certifications and baseline operational guidelines directly to the residents we protect, making our community stronger and response times faster.

Recurring Community Classes

We host structured certifications on a regular basis at our local station house. No weekly maintenance required—these classes run systematically:

Community CPR & First Aid

When: The 3rd Monday of every month at 2:00 PM

Where: Thompson Falls Ambulance Station

To reserve a seat in an upcoming block, call our station line or submit an inquiry using the contact form below.

"Help Us Help You" Safety Tips

When an emergency happens, simple structural actions taken by residents before our responding crews arrive can save critical minutes:

  • Turn Porch Lights On: Day or night, flipping on your outside entry lights allows our incoming ambulance operators to spot your street numbers instantly from the road.
  • Secure Household Pets: Please put family dogs or pets into a closed back room so our crew can move clinical gear bags and medical stretchers through doorways completely unhindered.
  • Clear Access Gateways: Unlock primary entrances and remove throw rugs or furniture obstructions from narrow hallways so our extraction team has direct, clear paths.
